 Mini-splits have two main components: an outdoor compressor/condenser and an indoor air-handling unit. A conduit, which houses the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and condensate drain, links the outdoor and indoor units. Usually, this conduit is covered by a Line-Hide, which offers protection.

Wall Mounted units or floor mounted units are just two ways to get rid of those ugly, non efficient window units. Many people go with the wall mounted because it offers space savings on your floor where other stuff could be placed. Floor mounted unit will take up a small amount of floor space but you will want to take that into consideration.
